This Privacy Policy describes how Bloppy, operated by Olivier De Grandpre ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Bloppy mobile application (the "App").
Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address (provided by Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In via Auth0)
- A canonical user identity derived from your email to unify accounts across sign-in methods
Chat and User Content
- Messages you send to Bloppy (chat history)
- Chat messages are stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud database (Supabase)
Usage Data
- App interactions such as feeding, playing, and caring for your Bloppy
- Game state including Bloppy stats, inventory, and currency
Purchase Data
- In-app purchase transactions processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Purchase records are associated with your account via RevenueCat
Device Information
- Device type and operating system version
- Network connectivity status
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your identity and provide access to the App
- To store and sync your chat history and game state across devices
- To process in-app purchases and grant purchased items
- To provide AI-powered chat responses via third-party AI services

Third-Party Services
- Auth0: Authentication and identity management
- Supabase: Cloud database for storing chat messages and app data
- RevenueCat: In-app purchase management and subscription tracking
- Groq / Cloudflare AI: AI chat processing
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Purchase processing
- Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored securely using Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) policies that ensure only you can access your own data
- Authorized personnel may review chat content only when required for safety, abuse prevention, or legal compliance
- Authentication tokens are managed securely by Auth0
- We do not store your password — authentication is handled entirely by Apple, Google, and Auth0
Data Retention
- Chat messages are kept on our servers for up to 180 days, then automatically deleted (a copy may remain on your device)
- Memories Bloppy extracts from chats and your game state are retained as long as your account is active
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time
Children's Privacy
- The App is not directed at children under 13
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
